And you dont even call no more

We dont barely keep in touch at all"

  • Yay, I got asked to be John's best man at his wedding

  • I really fucked up my back.  I'm pretty sure I injured it when I
was working out earlier in the week and I'm hoping it's just a muscle
pull but I'm like an old man now.  I can't bend down without being
in pain, sitting in general requires perfect posture and otherwise it
just hurts. But back pain won't keep me from going to the Marlins games
next week. There are games on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00, so if you're
interested in going(box seats with waiter service), let me know!
I'm going to Connecticut tomorrow and I'll be back in the city on
    Sunday.

  • This job searching this is really getting annoying.   I'm
sorry, but it was never supposed to be this hard to find a job.
I'm tired of sending out my resume, I'm tired of never hearing back
from companies and I'm tired of  forcing myself to go to
craigslist or monster or wherever and looking to see what's
    available.

Song of the Day: D12 - How Come

  • I need your help.  I'm
bored and deciding if I want to go for a beared look for yours
truely.  No, not ZZ Top type beards.  I've been lazy with
shaving lately and I can't decide if I like the look or I'm just happy
I haven't had to shave for a few days.  Look at the pics below and
then post your thoughts in the comment thingee.

  • Here's further proof of my stupidity....

Yesterday, I wake up at 1:30 because someone is knocking on my door.
I'm pissed because I was having a good dream and unless this is a
strip-o-gram, I'm not going to be happy.  I ask who it is and it's
my super.  So much for the strip-o-gram.  So I open the door
after putting on a pair of pants and I ask what's up.  He point to
my door and I look down and sticking out of door are my keys.
Evidently, I had left them in the door since the day before!  I
thanked him, took my keys, closed the door and gave myself a good slap
upside the head.  The word dumbass does not begin to describe me.

Song of the Day: Kevin Lyttle - Turn Me On

  • If I had any doubts on how boring Connecticut can get, they've all been
removed after this weekend. It was just oh-so-boring.  My parents
went to Montreal for the weekend and I could have gone, but I've had my
fill of French.  Anyway, my days would consist of waking up around
noon, checking email, watching tv and waiting for feeding times to come
around.  Since none of my friends were around, I had no july 4th
parties to go to so me and Naomi bought some fireworks and set them off
in our backyard.  She thought it was illegal or something and I
kept telling her it was legal.  Well on the ride home, there was a
police car on its way to an emergency so it had its lights on and
everything so I turn to her and go "Oh my god, they found us!", told
her to look at the cops and then said "That's it, we're going to
Mexico!" and I turned onto the first road I could. She thought for sure
I was evading the cops and started yelling at me to stop.  It was
funny....and was the highlight of the weekend.  I saw Spiderman 2,
which was pretty good although I had higher expectations.  I also
did some shopping and bought some new sunglasses, belt and a shirt.

So now I'm back in the city for the next 10 days or so, ready to go
back to having little food in the apartment, sleeping all day, and
pretty much doing very little but for some reason I'm never half as
bored as I am when I'm in Connecticut.

Song of the Day: Sammy Hagar - Can't Drive 55

  • I don't know why but I could not fall asleep last night.  I gave
up on sleep around 4, and finally tried sleeping again at about 7 and
managed to get in 3 or 4 hours of sleep.  Restless nights are the
worst just becuase you know you should be sleeping but you're
not.  No one is online, no one is awake so it's just you and the
TV; and let me be the first to say, tv after 3am sucks.

Last night's Yankees game was just great.  They were losing,
looked like it was over and then, wham, bam, thank you ma'am, they
score the runs and get the win.  As much as I liked the 11-3
blowout I went to, a game like last night's would probably have been
better.  Now if only the Marlins could start winning some
    games.....

Song of the Day: Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son

  • Before I forget, I thought I'd write down how the baseball game
went.  It was such a great game. The only game that was better was
when I went to the playoff game last year versus the Twins.  We
were right next to the foul pole in right field, front row.  My
sister claims we had to have been on tv a few different times so I'm
gonna go look through the game to see.  It was great seats because
we were close enough to the bleacher creatures to hear all their funny
comments. In like the second inning, someone yelled down to the Red Sox
right fielder, Trot Nixon, "Hey Trot...you suck!........I don't like
you!" I'm not sure how funny that
comes off here, but everyone in the section started laughing, mainly
because of the last part of the comment.

Anyway, whenever a red sox fan showed up in our section,
EVERYBODY started an asshole chant, and pointed to the people, just to
make sure they knew we were talking about them.  And it was at
this game that I experimented with eating peanuts with the shell
on.  We bought peanuts from the peanut dude and my sister is
reading the nutrition information and there's a set of information
about the peanuts and another set of information about the peanuts with
the shells on. So I tried it. It wasn't that bad, to tell the
truth.   After peanuts, Nomi wanted Dippin Dots ice cream(Oh,
how I love the ice cream of the future) so we went to buy some.
Now, I must have been under the effect of those peanut shells because
for some reason I ordered rainbow flavor. Let me be the first to tell
you, rainbow flavor tastes like ass.  It's supposed to be bubble
gum I guess but it just is not a good flavor for ice cream.

All in all, it was a great game and the Yankees blew the Sox out of the
water.  During the game, they would give highlights of other games
and whenever the Marlins scored, I would let out a faint cheer, to
which I would get odd looks.  Pictures will be coming later...my
dad had his camera so they're all on there.

Song of the Day: Frank Sinatra - New York, New York

  • I'm actualy excited about today. Not because I'm going to work (far
from it) but after work today, I'm going to the Yankees/Red Sox
game!  It'll be nice to go to a stadium and finally be in a packed
stadium and be able to root for the home team.  My dad told me not
to come if I'm going to wear a hat of another team but I'm wearing my
throwback Angels hat...I figure the Angels don't offend anyone and it's
probably a better idea than to bring my Marlins hat.  I'm thinking
of running down to Modells and buying my sister's yankees tshirts(Jeter
& Bernie probably) but I'm not sure how giving I feel today. If
you're watching the game, look for me on field level, first base line,
near the right field foul pole.

Song of the Day: Terry Cashman - Talkin' Baseball
