  • To celebrate my mom's birthday today, my parents went to stay at the
casino last night so this morning I had to get up early and drive my
sister to work.  In exchange for these services, I got to charge
breakfast at the Branford diner which was oh, so very good.
Nothing makes you feel as good as a tall glass of tomato juice, eggs
and home fries in the morning.  Yo soy happy.

    No work for
me tomorrow, I'm off to DC.  A few months ago I told John I wanted
to go to a Marlins game when they played the Nationals.  So I made
a really dumb impulse purchase and got tickets for me, John &
Carrie to the game (along with airfare).  So I'm flying down
tomorrow at noon, seeing the game, sleeping over at their place and
then flying back on Saturday.  The great thing about flights to DC
is how friggin short they are.  It's really quite ridiculous
because they still put you on a big plane and all but most of the
flight is either take off or landing.

    Pete is trying to
get tickets for a few shows at Foxwoods this summer. I saw a sign that
Lynyrd Skynyrd is coming and we had seen them a few years ago, so I
told Pete and since his grandparents have the hookup there, you might
be able to get free seats. We also saw on the schedule that Ludacris is
coming and I'm a little scared to actually show up but Pete wants to go.

    Happy birthday mommy!
