Month: May 2005

  • Well vacation is over and I'm back to reality.  I always hate
coming back from vacation because for at least a week, I'm wishing I
was still on it (I still wish I was on vacation after a week, but I
manage to be able to control myself).  It was a pretty good trip.
Thursday the weather was beautiful and the parks were empty.
Friday, the park was packed and the temperature was somewhere around
800 degrees.  I love Florida but honestly, I was glad to go home
(until I got home and saw it was near 40!).  I had a good time but
I definetly spent too much money.  I am afraid of my Visa bill
that will be coming next month.  One of the highlights was making
it back into the Hot Seat at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, although I
only made it to 250,000 level (again).    Pictures from
the trip in general (not a whole lot) can be found here

    .Can
I say that people in Florida do not know how to drive?  First, no
one seems to understand how to drive the speed limit.  The speed
limit doesn't mean keep it 10 MPH below what's posted; it means go 10
MPH above what's posted.  Oh and blinkers?  Well Floridians
think those are optional because no one uses them.  Every time I
had to stop behind some moron who slammed on his brakes without a
blinker, I wanted to smash my piece of crap rental  into him just
so I could get out and ask him if he knows how to work his
    blinker.

I haven't seen Revenge of the Sith yet but am
planning on seeing it sometime this week.  I've heard nothing but
good things so I'm very excited.

Pickup line of the week: If you don't wanna have kids with me, then why don't we just practice?

  • I'm really suffering from "Monday blues".  I need a
vacation or something.  Luckily I have one coming up next week but
if you know me, I'm all about instant gratification so that doesn't
help me too much today.  I just feel so....drained.  I also
recognize the fact I'm a pretty lazy fellow but there is so little
    motivating me these days.

Saturday I went with my parents to the
Sprint Store and helped them get some new phones.  My mom was
still using a StarTAC and it was pretty much dead and my dad just beat
the living hell out of his phone.  We got them some new phones but
is it just Sprint or does it take at least 1 hour in all cell phone
stores to buy anything?  Yesterday I spent the day fighting with
my router. I ended up buying a new router and of course it didn't work
so I had to call India and get them to fix it.  The first time I
called, I was so frustrated with the thing to begin with and then the
idiot refused to help me until I registered the thing online (which was
impossible since the router wasn't working); I was so very, very close
to letting loose some rather vulgar insults to him but managed to hang
up on him before I could.  In the end I got it all to work.

    I want this bird.

And now a cat giving a dog a massage (Jillian, does Waffles make house calls?)
