  • This latest chapter in my job hunt has been very frustrating.  As
I posted last week, I got a second job interview at University of New
Haven.  The position is for webmaster, and it's a position that I
would love to have because it's perfect for me.  The second
interview went really well.  I met the CIO, chatted with the
current webmaster and I left there with a really positive
attitude.  Everything seemed to be pointing to me getting the job
because alot of the rhetoric from the person who was interviewing me
seemed to point that way.  He asked if I could start next week,
and the last thing he said was what really stuck with me, which was he
commented that my attire(suit) was overdressed and that I could wear
khaki's and a nice shirt instead.  He indicated to me that they'd
    make an offer by Wednesday.

Well, it's Saturday now and I haven't heard anything.  I'm not
mad, just frustrated. I've been like a teenage girl these past few
days; sitting by the phone and waiting for the phone call.  I cant
emphasize enough how well I'd do at this job and I just wish I could
just know if I got it or not.  My only salvation at this point is
the fact that the person that will be notifing me is very busy and
being slow with things is normal with him.  You what they say,
patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait....
