If I had any doubts on how boring Connecticut can get, they've all been
removed after this weekend. It was just oh-so-boring. My parents
went to Montreal for the weekend and I could have gone, but I've had my
fill of French. Anyway, my days would consist of waking up around
noon, checking email, watching tv and waiting for feeding times to come
around. Since none of my friends were around, I had no july 4th
parties to go to so me and Naomi bought some fireworks and set them off
in our backyard. She thought it was illegal or something and I
kept telling her it was legal. Well on the ride home, there was a
police car on its way to an emergency so it had its lights on and
everything so I turn to her and go "Oh my god, they found us!", told
her to look at the cops and then said "That's it, we're going to
Mexico!" and I turned onto the first road I could. She thought for sure
I was evading the cops and started yelling at me to stop. It was
funny....and was the highlight of the weekend. I saw Spiderman 2,
which was pretty good although I had higher expectations. I also
did some shopping and bought some new sunglasses, belt and a shirt. So now I'm back in the city for the next 10 days or so, ready to go
back to having little food in the apartment, sleeping all day, and
pretty much doing very little but for some reason I'm never half as
bored as I am when I'm in Connecticut.Song of the Day: Sammy Hagar - Can't Drive 55
