  • Now that I’ve gotten to the “bill paying age”, has anyone else noticed
that a real sense of fear runs through you when you get a letter in the
mail with a generic envelope and some unknown mailing address?
It’s the kind of fear you used to get when you got sent to the
principals office or had to tell your parents about something bad you
did.  Well unmarked envelopes can stop me dead in my tracks.
Do you know what gets mailed in unmarked envelopes? Supeonas, warnings
to pay bills, final notices before someone comes and takes your
possesions away and other equally scary shit.  And then of course
they send new credit cards in unmarked envelopes.  So I se the
envelope and my stomach drops like there’s a highway patrol car behind
me with his lights on, my hands start to sweat, my heart races, my
brain tries to figure out what I could have forgotten and then I
realize when opening it that it’s my new Fleet card.

    You
know what sucks? When you get all dressed up for work to impress
someone and that someone isn’t at work that day.  When that
happens I just feel like I could have worn sweat pants to work that
day.  Like it’s a waste that I cared about what I looked
    like.

I’ve finally motivated myself to start working out
again and I’ve adopted a new schedule.  Basically I’ve split up
the routines to do one day on arms and one day on abs.  I figure
by doing more of each on one day, I’ll do more with less.  It
makes sense in my head so here’s hoping that I’ll be back in Olympic
    shape very soon.

I was reading the news and maybe it’s the nerd in me but does anyone else get goosebumps looking at the photos from Titan
If you stop and think about it, these pictures were taken by a machine
that is  millions of miles away on a moon that is so big that it
has it’s own atmosphere and oh yea, it’s right next to the mother of
all planets, Saturn.  Besides goosebumps it really just makes you
feel small; like when you stare at the night sky on a clear night and
really see how big things are and how small you are. It’s a really
cosmic thought but I can’t help but look at that picture and be in awe.

Dare I say that the new season of Surreal Life is the best one yet?  Who thought anyone could top Flava Flav?
